- RDBMS and SQL
- Web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CGI etc
- Good experience with any UI toolkits like Win32/QT/GTK+ /FLTK etc.
- UML and design patterns will be an added advantage
- Practical exposure to DirectX/OpenGL/ SDL or other graphics libraries will be given preference
