Sr. Java/ Report Developer (positions: 2)

Job Location: Pune (willing to travel), local candidates only.

Experience: 3 yrs-6 yrs

Degree in computer science. B.E with excellent academics from reputed universities.

Client is looking for a Sr. Java/Report Developer who will be responsible to develop reporting & workflow software application.

Selection Procedure:

•You will have to undergo written test and two technical interviews.
•No telephone interviews, you have to attend the test and interview on weekdays.

Job profile requires:

•Open to travel to various countries at short notice.
•Excellent Communication skills & interpersonal skills (VERY IMPORTANT)

Technical Skills:

•3yrs experience in Java/SQL programming which includes min 1+ yr experience on extensive writing of SQL for report generation/data warehousing and also includes min 1+ yr experience on java coding on core technologies.
•Good knowledge about SQL optimization.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred:

•Understanding of report development tools like BIRT, Crystal Report or Actuate.
•Understanding about JBoss application server and J2EE technologies.
•Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
•Excellent communication and documentation skills.
•Experience working with in an on-shore/off- shore development model.
•Knowledge about trading/finance domain.

Preferred other requirement: Valid US/UK visa holder.

As Sr. Java/ Report Developer you will be responsible for:

•Work with team of developers to develop reporting & workflow software application. Modify and document based on specifications provided.
•Troubleshoot software application problems. Assist/work with team on development of new software specifications.
•Interact with client to understand the requirement and document them.
•Should have flare of working independently.
