Job Description

* Provides clinical data management support and advice.

* Assists with interviewing and training new hires as needed.

* Reports to Client’s Data Manager / Team Leader.

* Distributes and assigns work to Jr. Data Managers,

* Database Programmers and Data Entry Specialists.

* Works with departmental managers to develop plans and timelines.

* Works across international and functional boundaries as needed within a project team environment.

* Works closely with Clinical, Medical, Statistics and Data Management team members.

Desired Candidate Profile

Ø Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a Medical/Nursing qualification.

Ø Data management skills with 4 years clinical data management experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a clinical/health- related research organization.

Ø Understanding of clinical trial methodology and GCP.

Ø Experience and understanding of at least one clinical data management system (e.g. Cylindrical, Oracle Clinical). Good verbal and written communication skills.

Ø Ability to work on multiple projects, plan, organize and prioritize activities.

Ø Knowledge of Frame maker, PL/SQL, Inform and/or EDC systems an additional plus
