One of our client (Google) has this urgent requirement details of which are furnished below:

Position: Project Associate

Job Location: Gujarat (willing to travel interstate)

Job Description:

The Project Associate will represent Google as a 'Google Guru' to train and demonstrate the usage of Google products to rural users. Google Gurus are people who know and use Google Products. Along with the training, Google Gurus will investigate potential institutions to impart the knowledge and promote Google products. Google Gurus have the following qualities:

• Able to communicate effectively.
• Excited about Google products such as Gmail, Gtalk, Calendar, docs, sites etc..
• Able to train the rural areas of Gujarat on various Google products.
• Interested in marketing plans and strategies.

Major responsibilities

• Demonstration and training
• Computer Application Setup/Installations
• Presentations to different institutions
• Maintaining Product usage Statistics
• Creating and Maintaining Daily/weekly and monthly reports
• Traveling between different villages allocated to visit Cyber Cafes/Kiosks

Skill Requirements:

• Graduate in any discipline
• Native speaker of Gujarati language - writing and reading
• Good Communication skills. The person should be able to interact and communicate effectively with semi literate (computer illiterate
• Minimum one year work related experience
• Should possess the leadership skills so that he can address the mass and take the situational decisions.
• Ability to work effectively and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management.
• Motivated and willing to undertake multiple tasks for different Projects allocated     
• Proactively identifying the scope for marketing Google Products.
