Job Description:

SUPERVALU is searching for a Senior Developer for EIS Team

Experience:

• 4- 6 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science a related discipline

Skills Required:

• Must have expert level experience on PL/SQL Programming for application support.
• Must know the XML Messaging concepts using WLI / JMS Queues.
• Able to provide support for messaging framework between Oracle Retail suits of applications and legacy applications.
• Know the tools and techniques for dealing with erroneous messages.
• Experience in integration projects, Message Oriented Middleware, Web service based integration and file based integration will be preferred
• Must have expert level experience with Oracle database and require deep knowledge of RDBMS concepts.
• Must have intermediate level knowledge of UNIX and Shell scripting knowledge.
• Must have hands on experience in writing and executing SQL queries, PL/SQL, Stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages.
• Must have hands on experience in Oracle tools and utilities especially “SQL Developer”.
• Hands on experience in Oracle 10g, writing SQL scripts, Certification in Oracle Retail Management is added advantage
• Experience on Java, Oracle Weblogic Integration 9.2 and retail/Supply Chain domain background preferred.
• Experience with a large professional service organization preferred
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Experience in other Retek applications support ORIB, ORMS preferred.
• Require solid analytical and testing skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities.
• Flexibility to work at least 30% of those assigned in US Business Hours while offshore.
• Excellent interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Offshore EIS application support.
• Works closely with and takes directions from Technical Lead to maintain/modify existing EIS Inbound/Outbound applications.
• Developing, Managing and supporting application integration, performance activities
• Identifying and monitoring interdependencies between various application implementation activities
• Planning and establishing after go-live activities including ongoing application support
• As this position is purely support in nature. Candidate must exhibit attitude towards diagnosing, investigating the issues and resolving in complete. Curiosity and attitude towards digging into issues and taking lead / ownership of issues in order to resolve it completely / quickly are expected.
• Working with testing team and conducting complete testing of the fix/development is essential part of this.
• Monitoring EIS information traffic between the ORMS applications and Legacy applications.
• Performing triage in case of any anomaly in the subscribing or publishing applications with regards to information carried by the EIS. Involves maintaining active communication with the affected application interfacing teams, identifying issues and provide the required fix for those issues
